Loikaw is the capital of Kayah State in Myanmar. It is located in the Karen Hills area, near the State’s northern tip, just above an embayment on the Pilu River.
At around 08:00 you get picked up at your hotel from your guide. Grab your bike to explore the surrounding areas of Loikaw. First, you visit the Payar Phyu village. On the way, you also take the boat and cross Belu creek. Afterwards, pass by fields and further villages as well as a natural pond. Here you can take a rest and swim. However, only men are allowed to dip into the water. Lunch will be served at Nan San Kham at a locals house. Take a walk around the village to visit the old monastery. In the evening, return to your hotel by bike.
