Passengers must accept and sign the acknowledgement document of at-risk activities.
Passengers with a body weight of over 125 kg / 280lbs or passengers who require a space for two persons will be requested to pay a 100% surcharge on the ticket price. Failure to provide accurate information in advance may lead to the refusal of flights at the launch site, whereby no refund will be offered.
Any medical conditions such as epilepsy, recent surgery or other conditions, which can affect your ability to fly or assist the crew, must be disclosed to Golden Eagle Ballooning at the time of booking and the pilot on the day of your flight. Furthermore, pregnant women will not be allowed to fly. Golden Eagle Ballooning will not be liable for illness or injury due to any undisclosed conditions or failure to comply with any reasonable instructions given by the pilot, crew or company representatives.
Children under the age of 8 years will not be accepted to fly. Children aged 8 to 16 years with a minimum height of 1.4m / 4ft 6ins will be accepted if an adult accompanies them.
Golden Eagle Ballooning carries third party and passenger liability insurances for all its balloons.
Golden Eagle Ballooning cannot accept liability for claims arising as a result of an act or default caused by any other passengers or bystanders.
Golden Eagle Ballooning cannot accept liability for loss or damage to persons or property which result from negligence on the part of the passenger.
To achieve a safe flight, Golden Eagle Ballooning reserves the right to cancel or delay flights or change launch site at concise notice. Golden Eagle Ballooning does not accept liability for any consequential loss or inconvenience.
Passengers should wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants or skirts, preferably made from natural fibres.
Full attention must be paid by passengers to the safety briefing given before takeoff.
The pilot is legally responsible for the safety of all passengers at all times connected with the flight and has the right to refuse passengers for any reason as to not endanger the flight or other passengers
The pilot has the full authority and passengers must follow his instructions.
Due to weather conditions, hot air balloon rides in Bagan are only operated from late October until March.
