Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival Yangon

Arrive at Yangon international airport, meet and welcome by Myanmar local guide and proceed to Hotel.

Day 02 : Yangon - Dala - Yangon

After breakfast visit the BogyokeAung San market (Scott market) built in 1926. Visit tohuge reclining Buddha image calledChaukhtatgyi, scenic Kandawgyi royal lake and the serene yet dazzling Shwe Dagon Pagoda. Visit great Shwe Dagon Pagoda dates back about 2500 years and was built to house 4 scared relics of 4 former of Buddha images, it isthe major pilgrimage site of Myanmar. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 03 : Yangon – Bagan – Mindat

Take early morning flight to Bagan, transfer to Ayeyar jetty and cross the Ayeyarwaddy river by boat 45 minutes to kyungchaung jetty. After arrive and take a jeep proceed toMindatfor approximately 7 hour drive. After one hour drive, stop for local market at KaMa small town and enjoy the local atmosphere. On the way passing several nature creeks and streams. Enjoy for beautiful landscape, rice fields and Thanatkha (natural cosmetic) plant plantation. Stop for lunch at local restaurant in Pauk. You can enjoy for different scenery. Afterarrival Mindat and check in at simple guest house with very basic accommodation.

Day 04 : Mindat – KyarDo – Mindat

After breakfast, drive down to the Chichaung creek by jeep for half an hour. Then start trek towards Kyar Do village about one & half hour. You can study ways of life of the Mon chin tribe & their tattoo style, taking picture to the sacrifice post & their cemetery with circle stone slab. Take a picnic lunch at KyarDo village. And visit lubet Mon chin village, after visiting trek down about one and half hour to Chichaung creek the place where the jeep will wait for us and drive back to Mindat, afternoon sightseeing stroll around Mindat, including Dai Chin and Makan Chin. Stay overnight at guest house.

Day 05 : Mindat – Kanpetlet

This morning take forbreakfast at local tea shop and visit to the morning market of Mindat. Then drive to Kanpetlet about 4 hours. Check in to your hotel & stroll around Kanpetlet. Stay overnight at pinewood villa in Kanpetlet. (Chin Tribe) The Chin inhabits the mountainous region that borders on India and Bangladesh to the west. Chin is one of the original migrate from Tibeto-Burman. In the past, the chin is one of the original high land dwellers. Men wore Loin cloths in the wormer months and draped blankets over themselves when the weather turned cool. The women wore poncho like garments woven with intricate geometric patterns. The most extra ordinary chin fashion of old was the custom of tattooing the women’s faces. Chin facial tattoos cover the whole face starting at just above the bridge of the nose and radiating out in a pattern of dark lines that resemble a spider’s web. Even the eyelids were tattooed. The tattooing was traditionally done to girls once they reached the age of 12 or 13. You can study and taking for photo to six different kinds of women tattoo faces at Mindat and Kanpetlet area. Lunch and enjoy a chin typical dinner at pine-wood villa. Stay overnight at Kanpetlet.

Day 06:Kanpetlet –Mt Victoria –Kanpetlet

After breakfast, take jeep to 10.5 miles and start trek about 2 hours to Mt. Victoria summit. The beauty of Rhododendron forest and the sound of silence will drive away your exhaustion there you are on the summit of Mt. Victoria. It is originally known as Nat Ma Taung and after named Mt.Victoria, it was for memorial present to England Queen Victoria in the British time. In local language, it is called Khaw Nou Toung (The Great Mountain or The Mountain of Spirit or The Mother of Mountain). Enjoy for picnic lunch at rest house after relaxing trek down to the meeting point where your jeep will be waiting. Then drive back to Kanpetlet, stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 07 : Kanpetlet – Bagan

After breakfast, drive back to Kyung Chaung jetty and cross again the mighty Ayeyarwaddy river for one hour by boat. On the way back to Bagan enjoy for the sunset from the boat. Then transfer to hotel and stay overnight.

Day 08 : Bagan full day sightseeing

Early morning take a walk for seeing the fantastic sun rise view of Bagan at MeeNyeinGon Temple. Then back to hotel for breakfast. After that start for hopping temple in Bagan: Thayokepyay temple, PhayaThonesu temple, Shwesigon pagoda ,Kyansittha cave, Thagyabone temple and stop for lunch. Late afternoon visit to lacquer ware work shop, Manuha temple, Nampaya temple. Then proceed to the Shwesandaw Pagoda for sunset. Enjoy for dinner at restaurant with puppet show and overnight at Hotel.

Day 09 : Bagan - Sale - Shin Pin SarKyo - Bagan

After breakfast, start for excursion by bike among the sandy road to Ananda temple which is the most beautiful temple in Bagan, Sulamuni temple, Damayangyi temple, for sunset at one of the best location in Bagan.

Day 10 : Bagan – Mandalay

After breakfast, transfer to Bagan airport and take flight to Mandalay. After arrival at Mandalay International airport, one hour drive to hotel for check in after fresh-up visit to city tour. Tour highlights such as Shwe Nan Daw monastery well known golden palace monastery, Kuthodaw temple which is the world largest book for Tripitaka (the sacred canon of Theravada Buddhism, written in the Pali language) and gold leaf making. In the evening, enjoy the panoramic view of the city from Mandalay Hill. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 11 : Mandalay - Minguin -Amarapura

After breakfast transfer to Mayanchan jetty and take a boat for 1 hour to Mingun by passing through the mighty Ayeyarwaddy river. After arrive to Mingun visit to Pathodawgyi unfinished temple, Mingun bell which has 90 metric ton and the first largest hanging bell in the world, after visit Myantheintan or Sin Pyu Shin temple a memorial building of the king’s wife and visit to home for the age. Drive back to Mandalay and take lunch, after lunch continue to sightseeing in Amarapura visit to bronze making, stone carving, wood carving, Tapestries workshop and Mahamyatmuni temple which is the holiest place for upper Myanmar, Amarapura is the ancient city of 18th century, you will have the opportunity to view a silk weaving center with the special method of the Amarapura for many century ago. Myanmar maiden adored to wear in many of Myanmar’s special occasions, such as a wedding ceremony, convocation ceremony and so on. Next is short drive to U Bein Bridge for the fantastic sunset. U Bein Bridge is the longest wooden bridge in the world, over 1.2 Km long and built in 1849. After the sunset come back to Mandalay .Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 12 : Mandalay –Heho-Inle lake

After breakfast, transfer to airport and fly to Heho. After arrive transfer 1 hour drive to Nyaungshwe which is main gate way to InleLake. If time permit you can visit to Shwe Yanpyae , Wooden monastery famous for oval shape windows and Shwe Yanpyae temple for its glass mosaic art of early colonial time. Arrive to Nyaungshwe travel by boat to your lakeside hotel .After check-in take a boat trip around Inle Lake. Tour highlights are the unique methods of fishing, the unique method of farming on floating island and the unique method of rowing style with leg. Stop for lunch at local restaurant in Inle Lake and overnight at hotel.

Day 13 : Inle Lake – Inn Dain

Early morning visit to one of the local market according to five day market schedule of Inle Lake region. And proceed to Indein village situated in southwest part of Inle Lake by taking a winding creek. Indein is a small village of Intha and Pa-O tribe. There have over 1058 of ruined religious monument from between 14th to 18th century. And return back to jetty by passing through a small bamboo forest, and visit rice cracker making place in Indein. Most of the people in Inle Lake love to have those crackers as a snack and day time they match this cracker with fermented tea leaves salad or yellow Tophu salad.Then continuing for the trip.
Tour included famous Phaung Daw Oo temple the holiest religious site in southern Shan state, silk and lotus fiber weaving center, blacksmith work shop, silversmith workshop and boat making place and Nge Pe Chaung monastery which is over 165 years old and like a Buddhist museum. Enjoy a spectacular sunset from your hotel.

Day 14 : Inle Lake - Samgar Deep Inle Lake

Early morning travel by boat deep into the southern part of Inle Lake, Sagar drive for 2:30 hours. On the way enjoy the changing landscape of mountains and bamboo forest along the Bilu Chaung creek. It is a dream of a photographer for take a photos of Inntha village built the house on the stilt of bamboo or wood. Arrive at Sagar village which is the ancient city of Sagar chieftain in 17th century and home for Pa O, Shan people who are simple, honest and show their hospitality to their guests. Visit around the village and pagodas compound over 70 ruined of stupas .After that have a lunch at local restaurant in Sagar. And visit to Thakaung pagoda site over 236 stupas and temples, .On the way back visit to fermented rice wine making place and pottery making place if time permit. Enjoy an orange sunset on boat. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 15 : Inle Lake - Nyaungshwe - Heho - Yangon

This morning drive to Heho and fly to Yangon. The rest of the day is free to explore colonial architecture in the heart of the city and have opportunities to take a photograph of ex-capital of Myanmar. Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 16 : Yangon Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Yangon international airport for departure.
