Myaing Hay Wun Elephant Park is a small wildlife park of Burma. It is located in Taikkyi Township in Yangon Division.
Upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, welcome by our local tour guide and transfer to your hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, begin your tour with Yangon’s colonial style city center. Visit Sule Pagoda, Bogyoke (Scott) Market and Chaukhtatgyi reclining Buddha image. You should not fail to enjoy the grandeur of City Hall. Complete your day with Shwedagon Pagoda, landmark of Myanmar. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Hpa.lon (2hr), a small town on the road to Pyay. On the way, you will pass through Hlawgar forest reserve, Htaukkyant World War2 memorial graves, some important towns like Hmawbi and Teikkyi. After you reach Hpalon, take an unpaved logging road (20km) to the east of Hpalon to reach Myaing Hay Wun elephant camp. Have your lunch at the camp. In the afternoon, you will start exploring the camp. You can experience the elephant riding along the jungle trails, exploration of elephant camp and study how Oozi (Mahaut) train and domesticate the elephants. In the evening, drive back to Yangon.
Breakfast at hotel. Free at your own leisure till transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
